Bring a friend or meet new people! We will cover the basics of the pop-up, provide an introduction to surf etiquette, and ensure everyone has a great time in the water.

We offer specialized sessions for larger parties and corporate outings. Please schedule these in advance so we can coordinate gear and additional instructors.

FAQ's

What does my payment cover?

The fee you pay for your lesson includes all gear needed and instruction. It DOES NOT cover for parking fees at the beach.

What can I expect from my 1.5 hr lesson?

Your lesson time includes outfitting time at the shop if needed, basic land instruction and water instruction.

Do I need to rent gear for my lesson?

No, the fee for your lesson already includes the rental of your gear for the session.

Can I get a lesson the same day I inquire?

If we have any instructors available we could give you a lesson, but we can't promise it!

How far in advance should I schedule my lesson?

We ask that you do it a week in advance. Since we can't control the forecast, we can't promise decent conditions if you schedule to far in advance.

How can I schedule a Lesson?

Can I add an extra person to my lesson last-minute?

We like to keep a 3:1 ratio to give everyone a good experience. So, as long as the amount of participants doesn't exceed a ratio of 3 per instructor you can add participants.
